Thanks to all that gave suggestions for this release. Could one of you
creative souls make me an icon for the thing and mail it to me??

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Unzip the archive (which, if you are reading this, chances are,
   you already did.)

2. Run it (WINBPM04.EXE).

3. If you like it, make a shortcut/icon to it, and send me some money. If
you are creative, I would love it if you would make me a cool icon for
   the program.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Use your space bar to click with the beat. When you feel that you have
a stable reading, stop clicking. The metronome automatically kicks in
and will beep with the beat of the song you just timed. The LED's
will change from green to red after 3 seconds. After that happens, and
you are satisfied with the timing, tap your spacebar to kill the metronome,
and you are done. Just start tapping again to time your next song.

Could it get any easier than this???

While you are timing you will hear beeps. As timing progresses, the beeps
will occur more frequently which means that your reading is stabilizing.

NOTE that it takes 30-35 seconds to get an accurate (+- .1bpm) measurement.
Use your judgement, and if you think you have a good reading, stop
(I usually get within 1 bpm in 10 seconds or so.)
